Key Features of Our Graduate Programs

  • Permanent Employment: As a Correlate Connections Graduate, you will be a permanent employee, participating in a structured program during your first year.
  • Comprehensive Learning: Engage in formal and informal learning, observational sessions, joint appointments, team activities, and direct client work.
  • Specialisation Opportunities: Our program includes Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology, offering pathways for further specialisation.

Program Structure

Our Graduate Program spans 12 months, divided into four key phases:

Week 1: Simulated Practice Begin your journey in a safe and controlled environment, practising therapeutic skills and familiarising yourself with real-life scenarios.

Weeks 2 to 12: Experiential Discovery Immerse yourself in hands-on experiences, managing a caseload and applying clinical skills in everyday applications as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Weeks 13 to 26: Theoretical Learning Participate in interactive training facilitated by subject matter experts, covering advanced topics in diagnostics, assessments, therapy interventions, and report writing.

Weeks 27 to 52: Individualised Development Collaborate with your supervisor to design a professional development plan tailored to your areas of clinical interest.

Support and Supervision

We provide unparalleled support through our Circle of Support, which includes:

  1. Supervisor: Receive one-on-one supervision and weekly clinical support to discuss your caseload, develop your clinical skills, and guide your professional growth.
  2. OT Buddy: Connect with a buddy who offers informal guidance and support. Your buddy will be a recent graduate or early-career therapist, ready to help you navigate your new role.
  3. OT Peers: Engage with fellow graduates and early-career therapists in Campbelltown/Sydney NSW, creating a network of peers who share your experiences and can offer advice and encouragement.
  4. Multidisciplinary Peers: Collaborate with peers from other disciplines to gain a holistic understanding of community allied health, enhancing your ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting.
  5. Admin Team: Benefit from organisational and administrative support, ensuring you have the resources and assistance needed to focus on your clinical responsibilities and professional development.

Life at Correlate Connections Upon Completion of the Program

Your learning, supervision, and support continue after the completion of your Graduate year. Upon completion of the program, you will advance to the role of Therapist and will continue to receive the same amount of supervision and support as you did through the Graduate Program.
