Many Supported Independent Living providers charge standard participant contributions for household expenses and rent.
What SIL homes usually charge:
Household Expenses
- 50% of the Basic Disability Support Pension (DSP)
- 100% of the Energy Supplement
Rent
- 25% of the Basic Disability Support Pension (DSP)
- 100% of Commonwealth Rent Assistance
- 25% of the Pension Supplement
When you choose Correlate Connections, participants may save approximately $335.94 per fortnight compared to some alternative arrangements.
We also do not charge mileage from participant transport funding and provide personal care items such as body wash and toothpaste at no additional cost.
