NDIS Occupational Therapy

We have Community based Occupational Therapists and they play an important role in supporting people who have NDIS funding.

Our Occupational Therapists assess and facilitate you living with a disability to live up to your full potential and enhance independence with everyday activities. Some examples include identifying alternative strategies to help manage self-care, domestic tasks, meal preparation, community access or increasing function to live independently. The NDIS is supportive in funding the supports to needed to influence these key areas of everyday life.

Our Occupational Therapy team here at Correlate Connections, can complete home based participant assessments and produce comprehensive reports for applicants applying to become a participant or already on the NDIS scheme to support continuation of funding.

These comprehensive reports will help identify support needs necessary to make progress on goals and aspirations and prepare applicants to meet the access requirements required by the NDIS. These reports include assessment on functional capacity and goal setting to undertake any of the following activities:

• Communication
• Social Interaction
• Education and training
• Employment
• Learning
• Mobility
• Self-care
• Self-management
• Assistive technology
